ASC provides monitored security protection to renters and other short term customers. Eligible customers match the following characteristics:

  • Condo or home Renters
  • Residents of an apartment building without a modern security alarm system
  • Business Persons relocating temporarily to the DC area
  • Students in off-campus housing units without a security system

ASC is offering a basic security system with protection against burglary and home invasion. ASC strongly recommends adding a monitored smoke detector to your basic system, if your residence does not include a monitored fire system. A monitored fire system does not depend upon you or a neighbor making the 911 call. ASC does not charge an additional fee for monitoring smoke detectors. ASC offers compatible smoke detectors for all basic systems sold by ASC.
